The CLM Summit is the forum for Configuration Lifecycle Management where business developers, analysts, researchers and providers connect with peers to explore technologies and strategies for enterprise-wide configuration capabilities. Building on the success of the inaugural CLM Summit in 2015 and the Atlanta CLM Declaration, we are excited to announce the 2016 CLM Summit.
This year’s attendees will hear from speakers of leading organizations who will present the latest CLM business and technology insights in a two-day mix of lectures and collaborative sessions focused on two CLM themes: “Internet of Things (IoT) / Industrie 4.0” and ”The Modeling Enterprise”.
The Summit will highlight CLM as a necessary platform for businesses with configurable products pursuing a strategy in IoT / Industrie 4.0 and identifying the key challenges we are facing when in IocT – “Internet of configurable Things”.
The theme of Modeling Enterprise will in turn focus on cross-functional configuration management including case stories, technology insights and new ways of organizing businesses for a model-driven product lifecycle. We will also introduce a maturity model for enterprise modeling and configuration capabilities.
As stated in the CLM Declaration produced last year, the overall goals of the Summit are clearly defined, and will also act as indicators for the 2016 Summit:
